Where can I buy tickets for a current or upcoming production?

Tickets for our events are usually available either from the venues’ websites or from our own page on TicketSource:

Can I audition for one of your productions?

We are always on the lookout for new people to join us.  Please send an e-mail to shadowroadproductions@gmx.com marking the subject line AUDITIONS and including your contact details, CV and headshot.  On those occasions when we hold auditions for a specific production – such as our January 2022 production The Voyage of The Dawn Treader – we ask that auditionees fill out the enquiry form that is made available on the website and book a place that way.

Would you be willing to give a performance or a reading of the play that I have written?

We are very keen to work with and encourage new writing. If, after reading it, we were to decide that we would like to stage your play or give a rehearsed reading of the script, we would do so on a profit-share basis. You would also have the chance to see your work brought to life and any benefits that such exposure might bring. If you would like us to consider your script, please get in touch via the Contact page with your contact details and a brief synopsis of your play. The subject line should be marked NEW WRITING.

2022/3 UPDATE – We regret that we are currently unable to accept any unsolicited submissions until mid 2023.

Whom should I contact about working backstage on a Shadow Road production?

Please get in touch via the Contact page, marking the subject line of any email PRODUCTION and giving your contact details, a brief outline of your previous experience and your preferred area of work e.g. sound, lighting, stage management, costume, hair & make-up, general crew etc.

Is there any Shadow Road merchandise available to buy?

Not at the moment, but that is likely to change later in the year.  Keep an eye on the News & Diary page for any updates.

If you have any other questions that have not been answered above, please feel free to get in touch, marking the subject line of any email QUESTION.

How can I support Shadow Road Productions?

All support is much appreciated and always put to very good use!  We have another exciting – and extremely challenging – year’s work planned but, once again, it will be impossible to realise it all without your help. You can help support us by:

1. Making a one-off donation via our long-term fundraising page: gofundme.com/shadowroad

2. Becoming a patron and signing up to make a regular monthly gift of anything from £2 upwards at patreon.com/shadowroad.  Patrons also have access to a particular range of ‘perks’, depending on which tier they sign up to. From shout outs on social media to invitations to our Christmas and Summer parties, VIP tickets to our live events, and chances to meet the cast and crew!

3. Sponsoring a charity event – please email us at shadowroadproductions@gmx.com if you would like to sponsor an event for a charity of your choice. In the past we have taken performances to cancer centres, care homes, and hospitals, and raised money for Combat Stress, Cancer Research, St Mary’s Church, The Passage, Book Trust, The London Wetlands Centre, First Story, CALM, and Mind.

We look forward to hearing from you! 🙂
