My heart is stone, and still it trembles.
The world I have known is lost in shadow.
Alain Boublil (1941 – ), Les Miserables
On the 7th November 2015, Shadow Road Productions presented an exciting evening of popular music from a variety of West End shows – including, with Remembrance Sunday the following day, a number of pieces from the classic Oh, What A Lovely War!
Shadow Road has a long track record of staging productions on behalf of various charities and we are already committed to staging four different productions connected with mental health, military and conservation charities (Mind, SANE, Combat Stress, Stoll & the WWT London Wetland Centre) in 2016. In order to do so successfully, however, we first need to raise enough money to fund the productions themselves and this concert was the first step on the road to doing just that.
Thanks to the huge generosity of our wonderful audience, we raised over £1000!
